Did you prime the pump? When one has been rebuilt the oi; pump won't usually pikc up oil unless it is primed. remove the oil filter cover and squirt oil into the opneing near the front. Crank it over with starter to make sure oil starts flowing form the hoke. If no flow, pump more oil in.
