That's been a problem with cheaper brake parts for a long while and I had some problems with other better brands being boxed wrong too. I'll never go back to Auto Zone for brake parts again as they wanted to argue with me and sell me wrong brake cylinders and those were boxed wrong and then the drums I had to return because they were not even near turned out enough to even go on with shoes pulled all the way in. Finally got another set of new drums and they had to be trued up some before putting on. Quality hasn't been there on those cheaper parts from any of the chain parts stores.
