My uncle had a WWII Jeep built by Ford that we used around the farm. Most of the time it was used for fun but it was great for fixing fence and we would also rake hay with it if the tractors were tied up on other tasks. However, we had to wire up some rain gutters to cover the drive shafts to keep the hay from winding up on them. But Sunday afternoons we sure had fun with that Jeep. We explored all of the surrounding countryside and hit every farm road and logging road in the area. My wife has a '53 CJ that's waiting-to-get-done line. It has a power takeoff, belt pulley and snow plow. I love Jeeps!
