I"ve mowed farms with a 9N Ford and a 6" rotary mower....of course I sharpened the blades almost daily. The hardest cut was opening up the field (if it was real heavy) and you would have to raise the mower up and cut high till you got around once...then you could lower it to about 5" and if it got too heavy just move out a little. Your M Farmall will handle the six footer good if it"s got any pep at all...and...you"re up away from the dust more than a little utility tractor. Fred OH
