For the exhaust rattle, buy some exhaust pipe elbows, and reroute the pipe into a u-shaped affair on top of the pipe, so the exhaust is pointed toward the ground, then another elbow off to the side, slanted slightly downward, and do away with that flapper!
Some heavy grease on the throttle arm at the point of contact will help to cut down on the squealing!
