Oh yeah they all been gone since 2002 & 2003. Hard to keep them when prices got high and no hay and 7 years drought and then a wet year after you sell them and then dry again and now wet again for a bit. Just the way it goes. Was 4th time we had to sell a herd out in drought. Sure could use some around to get weeds down now. Those dairies bringing diseases into our area sadly put a lot of commercial cow/calf producers out of business last 4 years. I guess the packers can own them if they want that risk. We had 2 Scotch Highlanders once too and they grew while here but too short to breed anything we had so had to sell them before they hurt themselves lol. You can always eat them you know and that's the meat they say royalty eats lol.
