Well, I hate to get on the other side of a question with old, and I don't know anything about a B, but...fuel problems generally do have some kind of a sag or sputter or jerking as the engine starves for fuel. If it just quits, just like you turned the key or switch off, I'd guess something electrical losing contact for a moment, just enough to kill it, especially if it tends to quit at a low engine speed moment, when the engine doesn't have enough momentum to get it past the break in contact somewhere. But if this is a B idiosyncrasy, then I'm speaking out of turn.
