I too miss them. They were headquartered 10 miles from my house in Muskegon, Michigan. It was a real success story that grew large and had a great store. They got thinking that they could get bigger and the aquisition plan was the way to get there overnight. I bought my house from a guy who was the regional sales manager and they moved him and his family to Colorado to manage the stores out there. After they went belly-up I got some calls from creditors looking for him. Sounded like he got in deep financial trouble as well.

For several years I had been driving by a farm house on the west side of Indianapolis that had a John Deere combine parked in high weeds in a lot behind the house. The gentleman no longer farmed because the entire area was developed with housing and light industry. I had stopped several times and knocked on the door but no one would answer.
