Compatible Replacement engines for 1712 Cub Cadet

I have a 1712 Cub Cadet that we blew a hole in the crank case after riding on a slope. Apparently this happens alot because we are having a hard time finding a replacement engine. It was a KT17S-24302. Are there any other engines that will fit this particular tractor? We had just rebuilt the blown motor and have lots of brand new parts that we could use to rebuild another. Please help!!!!
