Good Morning You Guys! Thought I'd share my latest project with ya. This old farm I bought has 30 acres running right down thru the middle of it that hasn't been farmed since the dirty 30's. Some of it hasn't ever been turned and still has the old buffalo wallers in it. I see no reason why this land shouldn't be able to produce wheat, so I've decided to take it away from the rattlesnakes. Spent the last two days pullin' prairie hay off it and as soon as it drys up out there (rained last night) I'm gonna get after it. This should be fun; I've recaptured a heck of a lot worse ground in my day. :>) Allan

Product Review: Lead Substitutes - by Mike Schordine. Lead was oriinally added to gasoline as an upper cylinder lubricant. It lubes the valves and seats. If you rebuild the motor, you could use hardened seats and valves, and unleaded fuel. But if your old tractor runs good, a simple lead substitute added to the gas is a perfectly reasonable solution. And, if you are like me, your tractor is under cover, but it sits outside. So with every temperature change, the humidity in the air collects in the fuel tank, in the form of water.
