I believe if Rustoleum was meant to have a hardner,the company that makes it would know and probably sell it right along side the paint,especially since hardner usually makes a better product out of the base paint. It seems everyone is a shadetree chemist until it turns into a mess.Then we go over to the paint and body forum and start asking "what went wrong" and "how do I correct this"? I know that the advise most people get on that forum isn't the most popular simply because it's not cheap to do things "RIGHT". It's actually cheaper to do it right and stick to a proven "system" than to have to do it all over. That IS what will happen when you start playing "chemist"!!! Any concoction may work once for one person at one place and time,but it will bite the next one. Stick to a system,you will be a lot happier with your paint job, and that's priceless. I know this is unsoliscited advice,and I appologize if it offends anyone,but it WILL save you a lot of headache in the end. Thank You.
