You gotta watch those British built Lucas electric systems! Aren't they made on the basis of a smoke cooled system, inside the wrappings? I've heard, if ya puncture the wrappings, and let the smoke come out, yer in fer big trouble!
It seems getting the smoke back into the wrappings is the biggest problem, so be very careful when working on Lucas electrical systems!
