I hear exactly what he says and with one exception, I agree with what he says. I did my farming in the 40's through mid 60's and I would love to be back there again. As most have stated, unless you want to truck farm or use some other imaginative farming styles, you just can't make a living today even if your single,let alone with a family on 80 acres.
