BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING, get an operators manual for this tractor. Then before you try to start it read it all the way through. Two reasons for this, it will help you learn all about operation of the tractor and it will teach you to be patient when operating it. Get a manual from a ford dealer, Tractor Supply Stores or from this web site. Having said that, a tractor can give you many hours of satisfaction from restoration or just working it. Try to find some one who is knowledgable to give you a hand. Good luck, take your time and enjoy!
