This tractor has a neutral interlock. So the transmission must be in neutral for the starter button to go all the way down. Oh, that thing on the transmission next to the gear shift lever is the starter button. So here's the routine to start: 1. Check coolant, oil and fuel levels. 2. Turn on the fuel. There will be some kind of fuel shutoff on the tank, and it will probably be turned off. 3. Climb on board the tractor and put the transmission in neutral. If it starts to roll step on one of the brake pedals on the right hand side of the transmission. 4. Crack open the throttle. That's the lever on the right hand side of the steering wheel. 5. If it's very cold, set the choke. That's the knob on the left hand side of the tractor that is connected by a long rod to the carburetor. If the weather is warm, you should be able to leave the choke alone. 6. Turn on the ignition switch, which may be a key switch or about any other kind of switch. 7. Hold down the clutch pedal and depress the starter switch. Either it will fire up immediately or it won't start at all. 8. If you set the choke, unset it before the tractor dies.

When dealing with thinner metals like sheet tin, a long bolt and
