Actually farming will be an education. :) $200 net - if you ignore land cost - is possible I guess. Repairs can really mess up a person's plans on that tho.....

Corn is under $2 a bu, beans are around $5. It's hard to net $200 with those prices, when fuel is $2.70/g & fert is $25/a.

Of course, I'm in the same boat you are, so don't let me sound negative. :)
