The world"s largest container ship was named. It has a capacity of 11,000 TEUs and is powered by a 14-cylinder Wartsila RT-flex engine of 110,000 bhp. It"s length is 396 meters with a beam of 55.9 meters. TEU is the abbreviation for Twenty Equivalent Unit which is a container size of 20 feet in length.
