I would tell him you might note in the possible negative feedback you leave that he charges excessive shipping,he could back down,however if it comes to that you can count on him countering with negative for you also.Best I think might be pay and leave no feedback or positive feedback with a zinger like Good item shipping high.If you give him a negative you will surely get the same.They often have high shipping so it pays to check.Keep the communication going a bit.
