You would need to drill one out unless you can find one that is totally vented (no pressure/no vacuum). With a diesel engine, pressure can blow the seals in an injector pump. With a gas tractor, pressure can blow any one of several things (line, hose, tank, fitting, sediment bowl) and spray gas on a hot engine or where there are sparks (distributor, for example). Vacuum causes stalling, of course.
