Hi lgc, My son worked as a diesel mechanic for a sod farm that had 400 pieces of diesel engine eqpt. There normal pratice was to dump the used oil into the fuel tank. In the six years he was there he stated he didn't see any signs of problems releated to this procedure. I would think if it wasn't thinned for winter use it would be a problem during the winter time. Other than gaining some extra power because of the higher BTU content, it appears not to be a problem. Cummins has a automatic oil syphion system that's available on there OTR engines. They carry a small make up oil tank to replace what gets drawn from the oil pan and burned as fuel. If I remember correct, they get 100k mile oil changes from dino oil using this system. They only change the oil filter every 25k miles. T_Bone
