Mike, The only real gains are way up there in the RPM range. When are you ever driving at the high end of your RPM's? Maybe towing up hill. There is at least one good study out on the web that shows that you are increasing the amount and size of the dirt particles you are letting into your engine with these after market "performance" filters and only realising HP gains at high RPM's that are never encountered under every day driving conditions. I personally won't buy another one. Had one on my '96 F250 and never did notice any difference except it was a little louder under the hood. Some people claim quicker throttle response and better mileage but I think its all in their head.
