About 3 mths ago I would have agreed with you guys, but here in Western, Pa. it has been a very strong year for old iron. I guess I better qualify that with a knock on wood comment though. The last year or so has been as you all described. I always base my selling price strictly on my costs though and I don't look for big bucks. An old IH C will bring about $1500, an H does about $1250 and the old M's do about $1500 for a decent one. What has really been strange is the amount of really cheap tractors for sell this year. I am going back to people asking say $2500 for a 560 D and making an offer of $1200 and getting it. I can buy running H's, C's and M's for around $600 to $800. Well before I start to sound like a smart a$$, I will simply say I hope it picks up for you...........
