Well I know one but most people that don't know them think they are bad dogs and are not safe to own. But to me hands down a Pitbull puppy trained the correct way will fit your bill and a coon would be nothing to one. I have 3 that are 50-75% pit but are more house dogs then out door dogs. My last good out door pit died a few years ago and he would take on a beaver, yep he kill the beaver but thebeaver almost killed him. We could even pick him up to take to the vet because when we tried he shot blood out of one leg. He layed around for about a week and we feed/watered him right where he was and not long after he was back to his old self and doing his job again
