I just went through that area. On the way south, you should be OK hitting the one toll booth just south of the Wisconsin line. On the way back, DO NOT go through that toll booth heading north. You will most likely have at least a 1 hour delay waiting to clear that construction mess. I would get off I-39 south of Rockford and take Hwy 51 up to Beloit Wisconsin and then get back on I-90/I-39. Have fun.
