Is your friend knowledgeable about tractors and
motors? Perhaps he saw a pulling tractor rengined
with an old packard aircraft or marine engine. Packard
engines are way beyond nice pieces of machinery, they
are works of art. Do a web seach for Packard marine
diesels and check out the engines they build for marine
service in the 1950's.
