This is from an ealier manual;check ign coil with an ohmeter.Connect the meter to each of the windings primary and secondary in turn.Resistance values in table.Pri coil .21 ohm[+-10%] Secondary coil 1.8 ohm[+-10%] It tells you the color of the wires also.The paragraph on the CDI just tells how it works with no troubleshooting info.These specs may not be correct on your model anyway they are from 76 models.There must be a Kawasaki website where you could get exact 1984 info maybe.Sorry thats all I have.
