If your truck came with the trailering package, the "pigtail" wires for the controller comes in the glovebox.

Or you may be able to pick one of these up at the trailer, or rv store.

If so, that just plugs in down by your foot, by the fuse box, and all the wires are allready run to the plug at the rear bumper. There's a big fuse that get's installed from spare to trailer under the hood.
