Hi! I hope I not clogging this part of the forum by posting this question here. I have an allis-chalmers B-112 Garden tractor that the drive belt has been slipping. I've found that Simplicity made these garden tractors for allis chalmers to sell under the allis chalmers brand. The belt is a "variable speed belt" is about an inch wide and 54 long, the simplicity part number for the belt is #164080. Now for my question; I went to the local parts store and they wanted +$49 for it! napa was not different by much either. I found a place that would sell one to me for +$37 but once the shipping was added it was only a few (less than 5) bucks cheaper. Is there a place that sells belts cheaper without it being a belt you'd use once and throw away? Any advice would be appreciated as I had been using belt conditioner to squeek along, but the belt's getting gummy and is fouling up the clutching effect. Thanks!

A good friend and I were recently discussing our tractor electrical systems when he stated "I figure it all comes back to applying Ohms Law". At this point
