I'd be leery of mounting a full-fledged industrial grade backhoe like that Ford 753 on any ag tractor. Even if the engine was big enough to power the hydraulics, that hoe is capable of causing enough stress to damage or even break the engine/drive train assembly that would bear the brunt of the digging stresses. On an industrial tractor, the hoe is mounted on a sub frame and the engine/drive train does not see much of the hoe stresses. A light "farm grade" 3-point hitch backhoe is a different story, but I wouldnt put a industrial duty hoe on a tractor that was not engineered to take it. I'd either put a lighter 3-point hitch hoe like a Bush Hog or Woods on it or like the other poster says, get a separate industrial tractor to carry the hoe. just my $0.02.
