Lester: As far as sizing of the tile, I would go at least 6". That should be more that sufficient. This will carry away the water from a 2"/hr rain. The slope at 1"/100 ft will work great also. I have laid 1500 ft of field drainage tile, with 1 ft total slope, and yes the field drains well. Rob
