I used to think the same way about GM...until the problems I had in the 70's with transmissions and paint.
Had Ford pickups until dad convinced me to try a Dodge with a Cummins.
That horse just goes and goes. Just brought back about 22,000 lb of trailer and old iron from Indiana...with 253K on the watch she still purred like a kitten.
But, I have been told the newer ones have their problems too. Guess I will keep the old goat and try and find her a car.
