After the flowers disappear, you should be able to start digging up "New" potatoes. Yum yum...but they need to be eaten quickly.

After the vines turn yellow, it's time to dig the rest up for storage. Those can be stored.

I *had* a really nice patch going this year, only thing I really lost...might save 50%...I raised them in straw and with the wet summer the slugs marched through them like Sherman going to Atlanta before I realized what was happening :(
