I'm going in on 8/15 to have my left one done also.I'm 55 and it's been shot for 2-3 yrs. From what I gather talking to MANY who had it done,a younger person(like us) will fare a lot better and a lot quicker.Simple mother nature,we heal better and quicker.I believe the younger you are the more you will PUSH your recovery because if you are like me,I've got a lot I want to do with that knee yet, besides just being able to walk without pain. My bowling average for a 100 game season has been over 200 for the last 4 yrs.It dropped to 187 last year because of the pain and fluid build up.That's my bending and sliding knee.I WILL be back over 200 and winning some money again and will endure whatever pain it takes to get there. The pain before wasn't any treat either.Good luck with yours and let's get back on here and compare notes after surgery.Lord knows we will have the time.Good luck,Cody!
