I knew Massey Ferguson was on the west side = just off 96. I never heard of the "Ferguson works", but i am a west sider. TheMassey complex off 96 was in use into the 80's. I think for a long time they did machining work there, trans and heavy gears. Few outsiders know this, but Detroit was always split between east and west sides. To me, anything east of woodward might as well been on the moon.
