I'm thinking it's time I get a new job that'll let me go somewhere. Right now I'm 21 with a class B CDL w/ air endorsement, I've been working for a lumberyard for 2 years, driving for allmost a year. Even though i just got a raise and will be getting one of the two new trucks they got coming, there isn't anywhere for me to go. We have a couple drivers that have been there for 15+years and still in the same position. So, is there anyone on here that is a professional plumber or heavy equipment operator? What do you like/ dislike about your jobs? I know some equipment operators go on the road for a week or two at a time, I like being home every night, is that a problem for me? The reasons these two careers sound appealing to me is; good pay, honest work, can find work allmost anywhere you go. I'd like to hear from anyone that has been in or are in these lines of work. work
