My brother did a big corn roast for his anniv. He bought two 30 gallon galvanized garbage cans and boiled them out. Party day he filled them 2/3 with unshucked (cut each end for more room and less mess) corn and topped off with water over an open bonfire. He set up a gas grill nearby with a few coffee cans on it. Each has one pound of butter in it then fill with water. Boil to melt butter, dunk cobs and salt to taste. You'll want a new pair of leather lined gloves or a few cheap hot mits or someone will burn themselves and drop corn. Enjoy your party! ll
