Wonder who all the DA's are who can't figure out what was going on at this auction. As you show winners always bring a lot more per pound than the norm. Like you said a bank, feed store, poltician, any number of people who could afford the price and wanted the free publicity that goes along with having the winning bid. And it is probably done as a donation for tax purposes.
