The same thing happened at our county fair several years ago and a fellow paid about $400/lb for a lamb thinking he was paying $400 for the lamb. His name is still on our price leader board and will probably stay for a while longer. The person who had bought the grand champion lamb for several years before, stayed with him until the last bid. The winning bidder was bidding $25 and $50 a wack. The runner up bidder was bidding $0.50 and $1.00 a bid!!
