Hi Gang;
Is,nt this just the sweetest little combine you've ever seen ? Its specially built to harvest grass seed plots, the inards designed to handle the smallest of seed sizes. Cutterbar is 10 feet wide.
The guy grows trial plots of 5 acres over a wide area - each plot is several miles from another to stop cross polination.
The seed is collected in small wooden boxes, dried and cleaned and tested for purity & germination. If its okay, the seed is then grown in larger fields commercially.
