This is Satin (I'm sure you understand the name) and this is proof our cats are too well fed. I saw one of our other cats walking across the yard carrying this rat and it was struggling to get loose. She then laid it down and Satin took chase. The rat ran up the park bench with Satin in pursuit. The rat stopped since it had nowhere to go except back down and since there were several other cats looking up waiting for the leap he chose to stop. It seems Satin just sat there looking at him not knowing what to do, so I grabbed the camera and managed to get these 3 pictures. As you can see in the last picture, Satin had turned around to look at something so the rat made a run....or rather a dive for it. He didn't get far and became breakfast for one of the other cats.
