Well i can remember filling the old B61 Mack lowboy at the truck stop and fuel for it with the road tax was 14.9 a gal. and they pumped the fuel cleaned the windsheilds and all the winders and mirrors lites checked the tires and chains and would park it for ya while you were eating . When i bought my owen large car fuel was 32.9 a gallon and ya got the same treatment at the truck stop . Now today ya pump your owen fuel clean the winder mirrors and lites yourself and when ya go refinance the farm to pay the fuel bill they don't even thank ya it is more like go take a flyen F .
