Thanks to all of you for your help. The unit is now reading "full." However, the AC itself isn't cold yet. There seems to be a problem with the compressor, as it kicks on and off every three seconds or so. I noticed the noise before but didn't realize until I got under the hood that it was the compressor. Does this "kicking on and off" ring a bell with anyone? Could it be a blown fuse somewhere?
