We never charged anyone comming or going at our show. We had a donation box at the registration booth and ALWAYS came out on the + side after the show. We were just happy to have folks bring thier equ. in for demos & displays. With fuel prices so high, events will and are loosing participation. If you want to keep the shows going, forget the fund raising. Make folks feel welcome! Greet them with a ribbon & a dash plaque no matter what they bring, no charge. They have already spent plenty just to get there!!! If you build it, the public will come. Our shows are living history class rooms. My 2 cents
