A fella in North Liberty has a White stepside jacked up Chevy about the same age as yours or older that I guarantee is louder and has the gonads to prove it. 502 BBC bored, stroked, balanced, and blueprinted. Custom made headers that dump into massive 4", yes 4" dual exhaust. If I remember correctly it dynoed at just over 700 horse without a supercharger, turbo, or juice. Heck, back then they all knew how to build trucks!
