Trailer Deck to Rumber or not????

Hi All

After 13 years my brand new trailer is starting to show its age.

I knew the deck was starting to get a little dozy and last week when I was unloading a binder I had a board break.

I had looked at Rumber in the past but getting good info on that stuff (price and reinforcements needed) is like pulling hens teeth. Finally yesterday I found a dealer who would price it to me. Total for my 20' plus 5' gooseneck is about $2000. OOOOUUUUCCCHH!! and that is just for the Rumber. I would need add more support for this stuff also. Also I have been told that this stuff has a problem with steel wheel tractors. I haven't priced wood yet but I can't imagine it would be near this bad.

Have any of you worked with this stuff with steel wheels? Is it worth the extra cash?
