Read on here this morning about a lot of you getting nice rains. I'm glad for you. Send more on down here, we'll take it. Had some storms pop up this evening but not much rain and lightning started more CRP grass on fire. We went out and spent more of the county's money burning diesel and putting out fire. It looked like this place must have missed the rains we had last month and couldn't believe how brown and dry grass was again. We done spent more money on fires this year than in 3 busy years. It rained a little in town and the newspaper man said the drought is over? hmmmm. Wonder if he saw the smoke and flames tonight? Yep spent my night pulling out other trucks stuck in sand and ditches but that ole 6x6 monster keeps on going. :)
