Allan, Top off the fuel tank with new DSL and she will be good to go! I would grease it, Combines have an Auto-destruct tendency built right into them. Case in point my Uncle had spent a bunch of time and $$$ on an ol JD 7700 in the winter prior to wheat harvest of 80, about 1 month prior JD put out incentives on the new 8820s well my 2 cousins said trade, he wanted to keep the old machine, well he gaave in and trades, got a great price because of the work done on it. JD sold it, with warrenty, 5 hrs into the next owners time the cylinder shaft broke loose, and the cylinder walked out the frount of the feeder house. did a tremendious amt of damaage. JD stood behind the warrenty, We thought the machine was good to go had he kept it! Have fun in Oat harvest, Later, John A.
