The Flying Beet -- Electric conversion of A-C G

Stumbled across during a while randomly Googling the net this afternoon!

It's an A-C G converted to battery & electric motor for about $1500. Which works exceptionally well for their needs in a small fruit & vegetable farm.

They also built a solar panel to charge it, although they concede it doesn't make much economic sense since they figured they only spent $12/year charging the batteries from the utility grid.
