Hi guys; Saw this old guy this morning whilst travelling round the area. Another scene that was once common and now a rarity. The tractor is a late 1960's Massey Ferguson 135 diesel fitted with the last remnants of a ROPS cab made by Lambourne - there would have been a green pvc top & sides, with glass windscreen & doors. During the late 1960's & early 1970's 1 tractor in every 4 sold in England was an MF 135. The baler is a Bamfords which was made in England (possibly a Jones Balers of North Wales design). Bamfords started making horse drawn implements, gas engines & barn machines, at one time the largest (?) manufacturer of farm machinery in England. Cheers David
