I was doing some trenching saturday and heard my neighbor down the hill, the obvious sounds of a stuck truck. After a few minutes, I decided to go down to see if he needed me to bring my tractor down to pull him out. I got on my 4 wheeler and headed down. I got there just in time to see him on his 9n yanking this truck. He had his 9n at about a 60 degree angle and got the truck out. He had a rake on the three point, had it raised all the way and had a chain hooked to it yanking the truck with it. After he parked the tractor, I explained a little bit about leverage to him and how many people have died doing what he did. I told him he needs some kind of drawbar for that kind of thing and to pull loads below the center of gravity. I'm not sure if he'll listen though, this is a guy who wrecked his 4 wheeler so many times he had to get rid of it to save himself more injury.
